  1. Hello young at heart, I haven't had my band done yet it will be in Dec, Nov, so lets keep in touch, so you can tell me how everything went. It will be the best thing for our health and welfair.   3. Hello Everyone, I am 59, I am getting banded by Dr. Mcklosky in the near future, not sure when, trying to loose wieght now before the surgery. But, I have fears that I will be hungry, and have a life of that. How long does it take to loose and feel healthy again? Help me with all the questions of the after band life. Love S.
  4. :rolleyes2:Dear Frustrated, I am going to get my lapband in Nov. late Nov. I NEED to get my health back, and my blood pressure down. At this point for me, I will feel better, look better, and not worry about having the strokes my mother had. I don't know how it will feel to eat so differently, and I will need support , but I have a chance at a new me. Remember negitive thoughts, are just that and we don't need them. DO this for YOU, not anyone else, you are worth this! You are the one that will change, and maybe others will do the same after they see you and feel your Joy. We should pray for one another.:thumbdown: Life style change Yes, but change is good and much needed. Love You. Keep your chin up, and know what YOU want.
