  1. Try the New Balance 993. It is a very comfortable shoe and will hold up to the pounding. I over pronate and have a very high arch. I owned 5 pairs of NB 587 prior to going to the 993. Both are great shoes, but the 993s are more comfortable.
  2. I had my band placed and filled on 7/14/09. I had been biking, swimming, weight training and playing tennis prior to that. I asked my doctor some very specific questions regarding what I could do post op. He suggested walking only at first. I can add swimming after my incisions heal and other activities after about a month.
  3. I'm being banded on July 14th! Good luck everyone.
  4. I'm being banded on the 14th. My doc says 7 days full liquid and 3 days clear liquid. I'm on my 1st day of clear and am a little dizzy....
