  1. Hi everyone! Hope the holiday was fun. It looks like everyone is making really good progress. So far, I've lost 33 pounds since my June 9th banding. I've had 3 fills and even though I have an appointment scheduled next month, I don't think I'll need it. At this point, I'm losing steadily and if my band is any tighter, I don't think I'll be able to eat anything - I'm already at very small portions (but I was still able to enjoy the Thanksgiving meal I made). My husband and I walked 27 miles in 5 days, last week and that's been really helpful. I think if I continue to step up on the physical activity, I will reach my weight loss goal. Hang in there, everyone - you're doing great!
  2. You are soooo awesome!!! That last 20 will be a piece of cake! (No pun intended) I've got 50 to go, but you inspire me!
  3. For some reason, I couldn't get my ticker back. I'm good and lost another pound! Hang in there everyone! :wink2:

  5. Thanks so much for doing that! :wink2:
  6. I'm not really sure, but I don't see why not. I would give his office a call because they are a full service lap band center.
  7. Nina, Did you ever go see Dr. Korman? He was my surgeon and I am pleased with the results. The staff is pretty nice too and questions are answered fast. If you haven't gone yet and would like more info, let me know.
  8. Hi everyone, It's been a while since I posted but glad to see everyone is doing well. Had 3 classes this summer and that was super stressful, but still managed to get a fill (2nd one was last week) and lose some weight. Now fall semester has begun, but I can tell this 2nd fill is doing its job. :tongue2:
  9. Hi Popcorn! Yes, I am anxious to get my fill done. Please let us know what your experience is like once you get it. It's next week for you, correct? That is so exciting! I hope all goes well. :tongue_smilie:
  10. Hi everyone! I'm new to the site too and just exploring. I had my surgery on June 9 and so far, so good. I'll be getting my first fill on July 30 and have been enjoying what I've been seeing on the site. It's very helpful. Look forward to some good advice/posts. I can use all the help I can get! Good luck!
  11. Hi everyone! I'm a June 9th bander and new to this website. Thought it would be a good idea to get some additional support. I go for my first fill on July 30th. While I notice that I still don't eat as much as I did before the surgers, I can eat a little more and now for the last week, I didn't lose any weight. However, I have lost some inches because of the exercise. I'm going to start adding light weights next week. Good luck to everyone!
  12. Hi, Got my band on June 9th, but new to the forum. Thanks for doing this!
