  1. I went home a couple of hours after surgery, so there was not a morphine pump, and they did not give my any oxycodone. The surgery was painful but tolerable. I have had 2 c-sections and the post-op pain was not as bad as those surgeries. I used vicodin for first couple of days and was back at work 1 week later without any problems. The key is to keep moving even when it is painful to do so.
