Hi Lemonpoptart! Thanks for the feedback. I have my first consultation with Dr. Baptista on Wednesday. I'm really excited and hoping to be on my way soon. I really liked him when I attended the seminar. The only bummer thing is my insurance does not cover any bariatric surgeries/procedures. I will be paying for it myself. Any info. you can provide about your experience is greatly appreciated.

I went to Dr. Cywes' seminar last fall, but was undecided at that time. I'm thinking more seriously now. Do you know of anyone that has gone to him and how their experience was?

Hello! I just came across this site today and decided to sign up. This looks like a great way to meet folks in the same situation and find out more information. I'm in the Jacksonville, Florida area and wondered if anyone else is close by. I'm looking into having the lap band procedure and wanted to hear from someone and their experience.
