  1. I had my band surgery two years ago and lost 200lbs in one year. I recently have felt a difference in the band. I could tell something was different. I went to the doctor and after a visit he set me up with a fluroscope. It was discovered that the actual band has ruptured. He said he has never seen anything like that. I am looking at repeating the whole surgery over again because the whole band has to be replaced. Is there anyone who has had their band ruptured and if you have did your insurance pay for it?
