I'm scheduled for surgery on 7/16 and was told to find another form of birth control which is not a pill. Has anyone had a problem swallowing their pills since the surgery? I don't want to stop taking my pills....

Hello, My pre op appointment was today...wooo! So many appointments before the surgery but I was able to get them all scheduled for the same day. Ok, I Dr. diet post op is for 2 weeks of full liquids and 2 weeks of puree. Any food suggestions please....

Is this really happening???? I am so excited and counting down the days. I have my pre op appointment tomorrow. Oh my, will they put me on a liquid diet??? Well, I'm ready to do this! I'm glad to have found this site so we can encourage each other as we strive to reach our goal.:thumbup:

Congratulations!!! I was approved today as well. My surgery is scheduled for the 16th. Yah and congrats!!!!

I just received the call that the surgery has been approved!!!! I am so excited. My surgery date is July 16th. I am looking forward to starting my new life as a healthier and thinner me.:thumbup:

Hello, I am eagerly awaiting the decision from Carefirst BCBS. My documents were submitted on June 12th and still nothing yet. I work for a public school system and was informed the 6 month supervised diet was not a criteria with their policy. AH....this waiting is driving me crazy. :bored: How long did your process take????
