  1. Do you just order that from the Lap Band website or something?
  2. What does the card do? I got one from my doc office (a laminated business card) and they said to show it at restaurants, but I have no idea what it does.
  3. lol...I am totally craving a burger too....I keep rewinding all the fast food commercials and imagining what that food tastes like. They just make it look so good.
  4. All I can say is WOW!!! I was banded Oct. 6th. I was absolutely terrified to say the least (was actually crying a little). He helped reassure me right before surgery and as I was ready to deal with all this pain...there was none. My abs felt tight like I did a ton of sit ups...but no pain. The incisions are small (2 pokes 1 really small one, 1 small one and 1 in the belly button). I had no gas pain so I am assuming he got rid of it before he closed me up {thank you :-)}. All I can say is Dr. Ali is absolutely awesome and if I had to do it again....I would definitely have Dr. Ali do the surgery.
  5. Fair enough....but if someone asks for the info then I just send them the website link and leave it at that.
  6. Actually my friend sells these and both her and I started using it and then I bought the product for my pre op diet and signed up to share and sell as well because I like the product so much. I didn't post the info because I didn't want it to be "spamy". I just wanted to share this great product I found and if others were interested great if not then they didn't have to ask for the info (and that's ok too). And no matter what product you buy, someones making money off it.
  7. Hi everyone....I sent you the info so be sure to check your inbox
  8. Mothers Market has a shake that has pea protein.....I am sure you can find it online if you google "pea protein". Hope you find something that works
  9. Congrats on the surgery date......only 3 short weeks away. Are ya excited
  10. I did a lot of research on what I should be drinking for my 2 weeks pre op liquid diet. Last week I finally found something I really like. It's 20 grams of Protein per serving and also has no sugar as well as chromium to regulate my blood sugar (which regulates mood). Also (a little TMI) I am not getting "backed up" using this because it has digestive enzymes (which is a great thing :tongue2:) Same company also does a super greens drink so that I am getting my fruits and veggies servings so I am not missing out on any Vitamins or minerals while I'm doing the pre op liquid diet. My surgery is scheduled for 10/6/09. I know I can do it! If any one is interested in what I am using send me a message and I'll send you some info on it.
