  1. Hi, I a 53 yr old woman with type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis in both knees (need both knees replaced). I have an appt. on July 15 for a seminar on Lapband surgery. It is something I have been thinking about doing for a long time, but insurance would never pay for it. Now I have coverage, and really want to go forward with it. I would like to what kind of experiences people who have had the surgery have gone through, good or bad. Thank You.
