  1. I'm 2 days out from an unfill. It was so tight I couldn't even keep water down. I can feel the restriction still although now much more comfortable. I've been sticking to clear liquids and water up till today when I added protein drink and oj. I'd like to try mushies but I've forgotten what goes in that category. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.
  2. Ya Im in the same boat. I've been slowly working it back in. I had my surgery July 21st. I've been able to do well with wine and switched my regular jack and coke for a vodka cran. I will say my tolerance is much lower now than it was before the surgery so need to take it slow and be careful. I've been staying away from beer and coke because of the carbonation and foam. Not sure what the doc will think of my plan but its not yet caused me any problems.
  3. I am sooooo excited - Now 1 week post op and down 14lbs so far! I want to keep the momentum going and begin working out. So far walking and even dancing around the apartment have been fine. Any tips or warnings on adding more intense cardio? What about weights how soon is too soon? And are Ab exercises out of the question at this point? I just want to get started!
  4. Hey there - My surgery is on the 21st, less than a week away. I am super nervous too. Lots of nagging thoughts but not really doubts. I know that if I can loose this stupid weight I will finally be the person on the outside that I have always been on the inside. I wish I had known this at 18 - I could have fully enjoyed the last years instead of just mostly enjoyed them. You will never regret getting healthy. Just try to educate yourself and your dad as much as possible and you'll do great!
