  1. ok I am obsessed:nervous with how to chew after the band:hungry: .how big of bites ,or small, how long does it take to finish a meal...what if you are on the run with your job and cant complete your meal..what about going out with other who dont know ...is it ackward to chew so long...I know these questions may be silly but you guys are the only ones who can tell me the facts...thanks for the help:)
  2. thanks for the post on Dr.Paya..Are you in the sfvalley? I am looking forward to the seminar, my appt and support group. I am somewhat nervous about life afterwards but I know it is the right procedure for me. Has the band been a huge adjustment for you? such as chewing alot, more or less focus on food etc. I guess afterawhile it will become 2nd nature.Which support group do you go to ? the one in west hills or northrige?
  3. Hi everyone..I am in the san Fernando valley and I know that there are 2 groups one at northridge hospital and one at west hills hospital. I have my first seminar and drs. appt soon and checked into support grps. i know cedars hospital has one too so maybe one of your local hospitals have one. encouragement and support goes a long way!!!
  4. when u drink water do you have to sip all day or can you drink 8 oz at one time throughout the day

  6. Hi everyone..I am new to the board but have been researching and reading the board for a while. I see my Dr. on Thursday and I too had been somewhat scared to do this since reading the posts..but thank you all for this post as you have encouraged me to once and for all have a power (the band)greater than myself help restore me to some sanity!!
