  1. My kids have been sick with the stomach flu and I have now caught it. On top of being over filled ( I am waiting to get a partial unfill for Monday) I am having throwing u pand loose stolls? Is there anything I can do? I thought it was unsafe to vomit alot with the band but what do you do when this happens? I am miserable, my stomach hurts really bad and i am heeving trying to throw up alot. Any suggestions or help? iwas banded in July and this is the first time I have been sick like this!! Thanks
  2. :help: I was filled on Sept 20th. I had 1 cc already in and they added another 1 cc. I did fine drinking the Water and did my liquids for 24 huors and then on to mushy foods for a day. On the day that I started the mushy foods I noticed After eating very slowly and chewing very well, I would feel like I had golf balls in my throat and chest. Is this restriction or am I overfilled? I can tolerate liquids, including milk and water (its all I drink). But when it comes to foods I feel like i am having a heart attack after a bite or two. I need suggestions on what to do. I have an appt tomorrw with my surgeon, she is 1.5 hours away so I want to make sure I am doing the right thing. They use an ultrasound machine to find the port then do the fills/unfills. anyone who can shed some light on this for me I would greatly appreciate it!!!
  3. I wanted to ask some bandsters that have been banded for a month or a little longer, what are you eating during the day? I am a very picky eater and wanted to see what some of you are eating that were banded around the same time as me. Maybe I can get some ideas from you. Thanks!!! Tricia
  4. I did have a CT today and from what we could see on it the port looks like its facing forward. How did u know that your stitches broke loose if i may ask? thanks for all the encouragement. I am feeling a little better today.
  5. I was banded on July 24th and have some questions about the port. I have had some tenderness and swelling at the port incision but told it was normal. I recently started noticing that I have tingling and some sharp pain upon getting up and doing things. I have been coughing a little too and wonder if that has broken the stitches loose. I am having a CT scan tomorrow without contrast to make sure everything is in place still and attached. My questions are is this pain normal and how long can this pain last? Also I have spoken with the radiologist and he's not familiar with what to look for in the CT to make sure everything is in its right position with LapBand. Is there a diagram or some picture i can take to him to look at or what Can I do? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
