  1. I was banded 8 days ago and I was able to walk around the wards the morning after the surgery. It has helped me heaps to be able to move around as I haven't had a lot of pain, just discomfort. If you can get up and walk you will find it helps a lot even if you can only walk a little bit.
  2. Well I had band installed 8 days ago and for the first few days I didn't feel any hunger. About day 5 I felt a bit more hunger but it helps following what I am allowed, A nice Banana smoothie for breakfast is a great starter. Banana, a little bit of honey, some ground cinnamon and low fat milk and I feel full until lunch time.
  3. I will be having my surgery on 3rd July 2009 and it will cost $4000 with private insurance. Without I think it was around $14000. I am in Melbourne going through the Centre for Bariatric Surgery.
