    Thanks everyone (even those who sent me private responses) for your positivism. I'm now more convinced about the physical and emotional benefits of having this surgery. Your suggestions made me look at this from a different point of view other than just monetary.

    Contemplating having this surgery, but... Hello everyone, I'm also thinking of having this surgery but not for the cost...$16,000 in addition to all other extras...ouch! I looked on the web and it seems there are only 2 clinics in the T.O. area. Since I'm 5 hours away, do you know if there are any other clinics/hospitals perfoming this procedure in the Ottawa or Montreal area? Many thanks, aeropink
