  1. I was banded on June 8th. I too am going through the 2 week clear liquid diet. I just started on my 2nd week. I think though unlike some of you I am not able to eat the creamy soups, yogurt, etc. Basically my dr told me it has to be something you can see through like broth. I was doing fair up until today when I had to return to work. Man was that hard. I swear people could hear my stomache rumbling all day at work. lol Plus I am now uterally exhausted & dizzy. Hoping my son will be nice & let me lay down. Good luck to you all as well!!
  2. That does sound good. But unfortunately I am not supposed to have milk. Only mix with water. I have tried several that I imagine would be WONDERFUL with milk. :-(
  3. I discovered these today as well and yes they are wonderful. Like you I think I have about tried every other protein shake out there & with another week to go I was starting to worry I wouldn't make it!!
  4. I believe every doctor is different. But I had to start my clear liquids on the 7th (the day before). I did not start getting the headaches, weakness, dizziness, or fatigue until late Wednesday into Thursday. When I call the dr's office I was told I could add up to 3 Protein shakes a day to help with those symptoms. Find one know that you can manage. I am still hunting for one that I can tolorate. lol So far I think I have tried at least 4 or 5 brands. I have found one wildberry that is kind of like a juice/koolaid Protein Drink that is pretty good. I made my first outing today by myself to Walmart. About 1/2 way through I became dizzy then I realized I hadn't had a shake in awhile so I made myself one as soon as I got home. Good luck!!!
  5. I was just banded by Dr. Walton on 6/8/09. So far so good.
  6. Hi, I was banded this past Monday, June 8 in Edmond, Okla. I am very pleased with the surgery and after care. He did a great job! I arrived home home Tuesday evening and everyday I am stronger, despite the lack of food. lol I am on a Clear liquids only diet till the 22nd. Anyone else had to be on this for 2 weeks? I was also on it a few days before surgery. I have started experiencing headaches, dizziness, & fatigue. I am supposed to return to work on Monday & hoping I will be able to make it through the week.
