  1. I have noticed that my apetite is comming back as well I had my surgery on 6/5/09 is that normal?
  2. I read somewhere some advice someone said, that you should start trying out some of the food you will be eating that first week after surgery (and some of the mushies too). So maybe if you change it up and try some different types of liquids it may help give you some variety especially when family members are going for fast food. It will definitely help you for that first week so you don't feel like your only options are chicken broth or beef broth. Even trying out different flavors of the protein shakes may help.
  3. I am a 32 year old single mom in the Houston area and I was banded on 6/05/09. I think I am doing okay so far but I would like someone to talk too about what to expect and what are some good food choices. I didn't expect all the different emotions I have been feeling this last week. I am the first person in my family and circle of friends to have had this done and have no one who understands what i'm going through. So if there's anyone who's available let me know, thanks.
  4. I was banded on 6/05/09 and am feeling the same way. I have been eating the sugar free popsicles drinking the protein drinks and drinking different soups. I run them through a colander and drink the liquid portion and give the vegetables and noodles to my 2 yr old. I could not handle plain chicken and beef broth. Today is my one week anniversery.
