  1. Hi. I had my surgery last Thursday and am feeling a little better each day. I'm happy with my decision to do this but I can't help feeling a little "alone" right now. I intentionally chose to only inform a few people that I was having this done...mainly because I wanted to be the one to let people know. Unfortunately, I knew that some of the people I wanted to tell would no sooner finish talking to me than be on the phone telling everyone else. My kids don't even know. They know that I had 2 hernias repaired but that's all. I plan to tell them soon though. Anyone else out there with a similar situation?
