  1. I started riding a four-wheeler a month after my surgery. No more problem than when I exercise. I think I will always be able to feel my port, but it really doesn't hurt at all. I don't think you could move your band, I know my surgeon stitched part of my stomach around it and that is supposed to help keep it in place. Don't care much for roller-coasters, but I doubt that it would hurt you as long as you are well healed from your surgery. Have fun!!

    Hello NSV!

My 8 year old grandaughter gave me a hug the other day and she could get her arms all the way around me and hold on!! That felt so great. I even had my winter coat on.:smile2: Also went shopping yesterday, I didn't have a spring coat that didn't look sloppy. I tried on an XL and it was too BIG!! Bought a L coat and a couple of L sweaters. I think it's been over 15 years since I wore that size. Surgery 6-4-09 Down 68 lbs.

    sore after fill

I always feel a little sore after a fill. I think it is from the doctor pushing on my port to make sure he puts the needle in the right spot. I also feel a little sick to my stomach for a couple of days afterward.
