Just the other day. The kids were loving on their mommy. They love me no matter what. She's 2 and my son (not seen in this pic) is 3.

Last summer, june 4th, about to go to work. At my heaviest in a long long time. 359lbs. Im tall, It stretches out, but its still heavy.

:blushing: I just want to say congratulations to all of us to chose to do something different to better ourselves. The actions, reap the same results. And, now, there is no excuse. We are going to make this lapband work for us. My name is Marquia, I'm a 30 year old black female, and I am a new mother of two (Zaire 3, and Lyric 2). I have genetics against me because of racial statistics and my family history. I want to loose weight. I started this journey just a few short months ago by going to the informational seminar. Obviously, I made the 1st step of signing up for the surgery. My starting weight was 354 in April. As of today, June 17th, 2009, I am weighing about 339 pounds today. I just stepped on the scale. LOL. I've been trying to make better decisions with my meals so that I can be mentally prepared for the lapband. I estimate my surgery to be around the first of September. I can't wait. :w00t:
