  3. :wink2: i currently live in southern california and my insurance is trough kaiser. i have to go through six monthsof classes before i even get a consultaition with a surgeon. thats an awfully long time to wait to change your life. i was wondering if any of you break down the process for me and let me know in actuallity how long everything took. from the start of the classes to getting a surgery date. and all the things yu had to do in between. i would appreciate it!
  4. sorry i am kind of new to this, but i currently want to get the lapband and i have insurance through kaiser. i am scheduled for an orientation on the 17th of june and i thought it was or surgery, but it is just for the classes!!! i was told that i was going to have to go through six months of classes before geting referred for a consultation. it wouldnt be a problem if i wasnt in so much pain. i am 5'7 and 318....my BMI is 49.8. i have so much joint, and back pain its rediculous. and it would take about a year and a half before i even get a surgery date. i jus t cant imagine waiting another year and a half. DOES ANYONE KNOW A WAY TO GET OUT OF DOING THOSE CLASSES......ANY WAY POSSIBLE??????? IM IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
