I just had my first consultation. I am trying to schedule all my required classes to get the ball rolling. I was confused about the Psych evaluation so I called the insurance verifier. She proceeds to tell me that my medical group has been denying people left and right for the lap band. I was so upset because my hopes for the procedure were so high. Is this normal? Am I going to have a hard time getting this approved? My BMI is 39.4. I should qualify with flying colors. Please help.
