  1. Me too! I feel like I could eat anything I want. I can't wait for my first fill. I need it now. That's why they say to remember that no hunger feeling the first week after surgery. I want that back!
  2. I started my Pre-OP diet today! Protein Shake twice a day and 2 healthy meals (4-6 ounces of chicken, fish or lean beef and green vegetables only.) I can have a cup of fruit after each meal. No caffeine or whole dairy products. It reminds me a lot of the Medifast program. I did really well on that program about a month, so two weeks should be a breeze. right?:bored:
  3. My date is July 9th. I am so ready!
  4. Hello all July Bandsters! I am being banded on July 9th. The whole process has really only taken me a month. I told myself if this was meant to be it would be a breeze. I am getting nerrvous about sweets too. I love my sweets. But this is a change I have to make for myself and my family. Congrats to all on your decision.:smile2:
  5. Hello everyone! I am fairly new to the site and would like to join your group. I am 193 and 5'2". I just found out today that my insurance approved my surgery :ihih:. I will be banded on July 9th by Dr. Felts in Richardson Texas. I am so excited:biggrin:.
  6. Congratulations Dana on making progress. I have my initial consultation tomorrow. I am a little nervous, but if it's meant to be it will.
  7. Hello fellow Texans! I am new to the site. I have my initial consult on Thursday. I was wondering if anyone had been to AIGB in Richardson and could tell me what to expect. I am going to be seeing Dr. Felts for my surgery, but not on Thursday. I am a little under BMI, but I have family history and 1 comorbidy that I am aware. Will I be able to keep my shoes on for weigh in, what tests other than weight and height should I expect etc..... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:frown: Thanks.
