  1. yeah 7kg was a great start and gave me all the confidence i needed going into to hospital! i got home this morning, Dr Bessel said everything went really smoothly which is great. I'm feeling sore and bloated, but i can walk around a bit which helps
  2. thanx jess :smile2: im feeling really good about this. kinda wish the op was over and done with but this time tomorrow it will be
  3. hi everyone my surgery is tomorrow! feeling a little nervous about the op but really looking forward to my new start! i just jumped on the scales to see if ive lost weight during my fast, but im not sure if i trust my scales now coz its 7kg since i weighed myself 2 weeks ago! weird i spent the day with my partner on sun, she said she wanted to "say goodbye" to my curves. made me feel like i was taking something away from her. I assured her i'll still have curves at 80kg i wont be a stick figure. And she understands why i want to do this. hope everyone is going well! i'll be back after my surgery :blushing: x kitty
  4. hello everyone :tongue_smilie: im 5 days into my fast and im feeling great! its not nearly as hard as i was dreading. ive been dreaming about chocolate, hot chips and breads but i actually think that its helped me behave while im awake lol a few people close to me have questioned my decision to have the surgery. telling me that i dont need to lose weight (i currently weigh 118kg) and that im beautiful now. its great to know that people special in my life see me that way. but a few times ive had to take a moment to remind myself and explain to them that im doing this for me, and not to impress anyone
  5. cool, its hard to know everything to ask, espec when they tell you so much at once
