Did you try this?? I had used this cleanse befor and loved it! but hadnt since banded. I just wondered if we could since on the bottle It talks about swelling in the throat?? If it swells the stomach whats it gonna do to the band? Just wondering if anyone banded had tried it yet?

I returned to work after 4days and i have a phisically demanding job.... i only took the pain meds i day and one night, oh and i had a 3 hour car ride home an hour after surg! its amazing what we can do if we want it bad enough! Are you allowed to eat the day of your fill befor they do it? My appt is at 2;30 on the 20th and i didnt know if i had to be on liquids the whole day before?

My surgeon advised me to take aleive along with my narcotic and it helped tremindousely! I was able to quit taking the loritab on tues night (my surg was the day before) and i could move around alot easier. Of course the more i moved the better i felt.

I had surgery on monday and my surgeon allready has me on mushies. Ive went real slow with them though. Once a day i have either applesauce or runny mashpotatos. oh and last night i had a small amount of coco wheats yummy:) after all liquids it was WONDERFUL!!

so everyone talks about different people being able to eat different things and how some things get " stuck" . So my question is how do i know if something is "stuck"? I mean will i know right off the bat or an hour later and what does it feel like? I am 5 days post op and really afraid of what foods to try when its time. Should i only try new things at home? Is it horrible pain? and how do i get "un stuck"? Any and all answers are really appreciated. Oh yeah and what about spaghettios? i dont even like them but wondering if anyones tried them?

yeah i called and his nurse said he was on call all weekend and if its still going on tom they will page him. I have to go to a baby shower tom and was worried about all the junk food. i guess atleast i have something better to worry about lol. Ok soooo this might be tmi but i need help! I had my band surg monday and all went smooth came home that night and till last night hadnt had a bowel movement. WELL all that changed. i started with violent gas and diarrhea last night and it is still going on. You would think i was blowing the porclien up! It is very painfull and you can hear my guts rumbling 10 feet away! I have been using gas strips but havent helped this prob. any advise??????? :confused: i am a hairdresser and a massage therapist and today was my first day back. well needless to say i RAN to the bathroom 2 times for 10 min each during one haircut and i just pray no one was walking by the door, i could have been heard a lonnnnnnnnng ways away!:cursing:

hi! i was banded yesterday and was wondering what is some of the mushies you have tried? do you mind sharing? i am a little scared because i drank to fast last night and vomitted! Also is phazyme small liquid gels ok to take?

Hey guys im pretty new and dont know how to do all the fancy stuff yet! I am also getting banded on the 8th!! i started my preop last weds. and do my preop test on the 2nd! I am also self pay because of denial. :thumbup: I hope we all can be good support for each other:biggrin: love making new friends! I am having lap band on the 8th yeah july!!!! I start pre-op diet in the morn! and do my pre-op test fri the 26. I am so excited! I am a self pay and was wondering if anyone else is using carecredit?
