sorry 9th is out for me as i have to work, i finish at 2pm so can get there by 2.30 if you think you will still be around. itis a restaurant however they have a small snack area too for drinks/coffees etc but thats not near a playground. as i will still be on mushies perhaps it would be best if i did come just for coffee after lunch.

you wont have to give up coffee. I was given tea/coffee the following day and am about to go and make myself one right now.

Count me in too, I was banded 2 days ago so wont be eating anything or only mushies but looking forward to meeting you all. yes i went to the valley support group last month with a neighbour who was banded there and plan to continue going.

Why such a large incision? is that from the port site? I am being banded in a few weeks so getting quite nervous.

I am planning on joining you if it is ok. I am being banded mid august so will be needing all the support I can get.

I have a blood clotting disorder so will be having the injections in hospital and giving them to myself for a week following. I also have to use them when I fly more than a couple of hours.
