  1. Oops! Meant to say July 2009 Freedom Fighters (not July Bandsters!)
  2. Thanks so much, Millie! I'll try what you suggested and keep all TEN fingers crossed. Oh, maybe I'll cross a toe or two as well!! Hey -- can I be a part of the July Bandsters group? I'm getting banded in a couple of weeks, so it would be great to communicate with someone who is getting it done soon too! Happy 4th!!:tongue2:
  3. Congratulations all! Soooo glad to hear that all has gone with for you both! I am scheduled to be banded on July 14th -- yippee!! Can't wait! Will keep you all posted on my progress. BTW, can someone tell me how I can add my "weight loss ticker" to my personal profile? Been having trouble getting that figured out -- geesh! Thanks and happy Fourth to you all!! Lisa :tongue2: Wilmington, MA

Currently going thru the phases of pre-op. Deciding this summer whether or not it'll happen! You all look great! Keep up the good work!!
  5. Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and wanted to say HELLO! I'm in the beginning stages of preparing for lap band surgery, and I am very excited! I have my first appointment with the nutritionist next week, then will have my sleep study done, blood work, etc... Any helpful tips or advice I can get would be much appreciated! One of my main concerns is how difficult it will be to adjust to the new diet POST surgery. I know all about the liquid diet pre and post surgery, but am hoping some of you can give me helpful tips on how to adjust to the permanent eating habit changes that will occur long term. Thank you all -- I look forward to making new friends! Lisa
