  1. Hi there, I had my surgery on April 23rd 2009 and had the exact same symptoms you describe. I also had a medium hiatal hernia repair. I was not told that it takes longer to heal if you have a hernia, but I do know that I felt the exact way you do last week. I fainted 4 times and my blood pressure was down to 80/60. A pharmacist told my husband that I was probably dehydrated and I should drink more. I was also given a chewable multivitamin to help give me a boost. This seemed to help a lot. Good luck.:smile:
