  1. its because liquids dont work with the band, it gives it no restriction, once you start eating normal food again you definatly will be able to feel it.
  2. so i got my band put on august 08, and then went for my first adjustment and they thought a fistula happend, because it looked like the liquid was going around my band, so i go in for surgery to fix it in october 08 and they take the fucking thing out because it eroded through my stomac. i was in the hospital for 4 days, it was fucked up and my liver was also stuck to my stomac, so after 6 monts of thinking it over i decide to get my band back on. i got it put back on may 21 09, so im hoping this time it works, just be careful and be aware of the risks and if you really want it and if its worth it, now i have 10 scars on my stomac from having surgery 3 times, what my luck.
