  1. Julie, you have come a long way. Be happy with that. My advice is put up an old picture right next to a new picture and leave a space for your goal picture. I got my surgery a couple of weeks before you and I have stalled too. but we have to keep in mind that we have come a long way and yes we still a little way to go but we will get there.
  2. Julie you may also be slowing down because your gettting so close to goal that your body has to take more time to get rid of the extra wieght. Your doing GREAT, just dont lose faith. Give yourself a bit of slack.
  3. Hello Julie, thank you for that!!! I really needed that. I got mine on Oct 10, just a few days before you. I was 320 when I started my pre-op diet and 300 the day of my surgery. I have lost 87 lbs and I got tired. I have been sittin on my ass for a couple of weeks now. I haven't exercised yet. I know I really need to start. Thanks for kickin us both in the tail.

I was banded on Oct 10, 08 since then I have lost 87 lbs. Since I started on this journey I have tried to not eat emotionally. When I get hungry, I ask myself "Are you really hungry or is something else going on?" Since I started this process another "appetite" has developed... for sex. Is this normal?
