  2. I live in NC and had my surgery in Conway, SC by Dr. Balder at Surgical Associates. It was a great experience and I am sure he can help you with fills. He charges $200 for a fill. All the great outlet malls are right by the practice so you can get cute new "skinny" clothes while you are there.
  3. I told everyone!! The response was incredible, I have had support and encouragement from everyone. I am a high school teacher and I was truthful with my students when I took the week off for surgery. They have been the most helpful and have kept me motivated. A parent called me to ask for a conference, I assumed it was about her daughter. It turned out she wanted info about surgery! She is now scheduled to have it next month. I don't think this should be a dirty little secret. I have had so many people come up to me to ask about my exeriences, there are so many of us out there who need to know where to turn when they have tried EVERTHING to loose weight. The only downside is that I think I have become known as "the girl who had surgery". But hey, at least soon I won't be known as 'the big girl". Katie
  4. Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. I was banded about 4 months ago and have been doing great. I'm almost halfway there and am really motivated. The weight loss has seemed to slow down this past month and after my last fill eating has become a challenge but I am starting to get used to the new restriction. Is there anyone else in the Wilmington area?
  5. I am in NC as well. I was banded at the beginning of March and have been doing great. I'm in Wilmington so I was able to find a great doctor in Myrtle Beach. You are gonna do great!
