:cursing: HELP!!!! I was banded on Feb 16th of this year. My first fill I got 4cc, my second i got 1cc, and my third fill i got 3cc. I still am not feeling barely any restriction. I can definately eat more than 2 cups of food without problems. I have NO food that dont agree with me such as bread or meat. I am so frustrated:frown:... I am wondering if this was just a big waste of money... I hear people talking about this sweet spot. Will I ever get there??? Can anyone help and tell me if they have heard someone with that big of a fill with no restriction. Thanks Kari

From what I understand that is normall... when you get filled sometimes you have some swelling. alot of people do feel some restriction after filling and then a week later lose it.. my doctor told me that after a week or two it relaxes and you may not feel the restriction you did... Im totally with you.. I had a fill two weeks ago and felt great restriction after having it done... but now i am able to eat larger amounts again.. its so frustrating!!!! Im hoping next week when i get my next fill that will be the one that takes me to my sweet spot... Keep your chin up...:frown:

I have a 11cc band.. I am now at 9cc and just starting to feel a little restriction.. your not alone.. Im hoping my next fill will be the one.. Hopefully that will put me at my sweet spot... It just seems like its taking so long to get to the point of just feeling a small amount of restriction.. I hope that this fill does it for you... I totally hear you..Im in the same situation.. my first fill was 4 cc. I did not feel any restriction after that..my second was 1cc, still nothing, and my third fill was 4 cc... Finally a little restriction. I had good restriction for about 4 days and then i went backwards. I really think my next fill im going to finally get to my sweet spot..my surgeon is aggressive with the fills.. Thanks god

you are so sweet... Thanks for what you said.. You made me feel alot better.. I agree with you.. I really think the next fill will do it.. I can still eat about 1-2 cups, but after my last fill i started to feel some restriction.. So cross your fingers for me. It does scare me though that im at 9cc and i have an 11cc band.. My next appointment is on june 10th... My doctor is great... He is located in cinncinati ohio.. He has placed more realize bands on patients that anyone in the u.s.... I totally trust him.. It makes you feel good when you have total trust in your surgeon..

I honestly had great restriction probably the first 4-5 days and now it seems like im moving backwards again. I think my next fill will be the one that I really notice a huge difference with. Im not quit sure why your doctor is putting so little in your band at a time.. you could be right about the money thing. My fills were included with my surgery cost.. That could be why ive had great fills. My 1st was 4cc, 2nd 1cc, and the third 4cc... So ive been lucky with my fill amounts... Let me know how things go... Kari

After going to the dr on friday and he gave me another cc I felt great restriction. It has let up a little now. Does anyone else notice the same thing after the get fil ls ? I started at a bmi of 43.5. I'm so worried since I'm at 9cc and my band is only a 11cc. Its so frustrating. If anyone is like me I want it a right now. Is anyone else feeling the same? I went to the Doctor on Friday.. He pulled out the solution in my band and I was at 8cc, so he put another 1cc in the band. I finally feel a little restriction. I have an 11cc band so Im hoping that maybe one more fill and I will be at my sweet spot. Has anyone else had these issues? He told me since my BMI was not extremely high that alot of times you need alot in your band to feel restriction. Has anyone else heard this? Thanks everyone for posting back to me.. You are definately not alone. I had my third fill last week which put me at 8cc and I feel barely any restriction at all. I can eat more that 2 cups of food without any problem.
