  1. lap-bandit. thank you for your story. yours is like mine and it is good to here it was the right decision for you. I am still debating. seeing doc. on 16th
  2. I am also looking for the sils. Single incision. I am in Riverside county California. Just starting to research, will let you know what I find in Cali.
  3. You guys rock here. Keep posting your status for us who are still deciding....ok??????
  4. How are you doing with your band?
  5. I thank you all so much for your input on low bmi and lapband. I understand about people larger than me, getting mad and thinking I am a joke when their goal weight, is what I am currently.but until they are in my deformed body and in my head, they cant understand how 50 lbs can hurt so much. I am not lazy, I do everything I am supposed to do. I can loose 8 lbs in a week and gain it all back in one day having done nothing wrong!!!!! I am 5.2 and should weigh 109-117, and being 176 hurts me. Is the band a good idea. Please give me all opinions. I am searching for everything everyone's got to tell me. I had 3 weeks to live with colon cancer and just celebrated 7 years, so I am a fighter.... but I cant drop this weight and keep it off ever since chemo. Give it to me straight should I do this. I am hurting my family because I wont go out in the summer. I'm not vain, just not as self confident to walk around in shorts having obese knees hang out of my shorts. I need to make a move now . This seems like my last hope now.
  6. Jachut: I have a bmi of 31 but it feels like 81 i got on the chat room here asking if it was a good idea to get banded and they all laughed at me and made me look stupid. 50 lbs is alot too. i have tried everything and i now the drill of what to do but its not working for me thanks for your input it was nice to here
