  1. i have been banded for 3 months now, and have had 2 fills, i feel some restriction, but i do keep a eye on what i eat, and count calories. I try to keep it under 800 cal a day. But i am always thirsty and keep drinking water and Powerade zero. i have gained 10 pounds this week and i feel like more liquid and food goes in that comes out, if you know what i mean. should i take like laxatives or water weight pills? i know my doc is going to give me a hard time, i have another fill scheduled on wednesday and i gained the 10 pounds, please help with any suggestions.

  3. i just got home from the hospital, i was banded on May 26 2009 at Tucson Medical Center by Dr. Monte Schwartz. at my preop oriantaion i weighted in at 410 pounds, i have not weighted my self since then, but i have notice quite a change already, i will be receiving my first fill on Monday June 1, any suggestions or support is really appreciated, thanks everyone.
  4. i just got home from my lapband surgery on Tuesday May 26, i was kept for a extra day, and oh my god does my stomach hurt, i can bearly keep liquids down. Any suggestions on what to expect on my first week, or what kinds of things i should avoid? thanks for you help.
  5. i started my diet lastweek, and yeah the first couples of days is hard to stick with it, my suggestions, stay busy and drink alot of water so you dont feel so empty, and goodluck to you.
  6. @ 410 pounds, and finally approved and scheduled for Lap-Band surgery on May 26 2009!!!
