My mum keeps saying that I am not even fat and its just my body shape! and gets mad When I say mum, Talk to my doctor! I am morbidly obese! I know she is just being nice but it is that attitude that helps me to fail. Realistically even health wise! it is not ok to be this way, not even going into appearance! We have all made great descitions for ourselves

Yeah I work in an online centre so the same as a call centre but it is emails and live chat! I dont understand those ticker things either

Hey everyone! I love the pedometer idea thats great! I am currently 108Kg But i am 160cm tall so my BMI is 40. Maricole Dr Anderson didnt take the descition lightly I am having my op at Norlunga and there is no intensive care there so he had to make sure there was no risk first. I have to get under 100kg first before september. I also dont currently have any other health risks. I want to get a Wii and Wii Fit. I think that will be a lot of fun! but currently I have to save for our overseas holiday! MsJess I had a look at your blog it was good, I have been really lucky too as I told a really good friend of mine and i thought she was going to be upset about it but she was really excited and said "since I have known you how have really strugggled with your weight so this is a really good thing" she doesnt drink and really healthy and is glad that i will be taking that path too! Those who are already banded how much work did you have off?? I have a week booked as I sit in the same spot for 8 hours a day and type, but what do youse think?

The book I was given by my DR says 2 weeks liquid 2 weeks mush then solid....... I am sure however your doctor does it differently for a reason :biggrin: I am actually getting worried about it now! Not bad stuff just more anxious, I wanna know my results etc. and I am wondering/ hoping I go really well. I am going to really start changing my eating etc on monday so then I dont find it so hard closer to my banding date. 2 month 10 days to go to I get to be in the game with a chance! I read this little thing today and i never saw things this way before....... When the date was booked in I was a bit bad but hey it is going to be the last time forever! I wasnt eating the best food for lunch. She yelled over to me so everyone could hear which would be close to 30 or so, whilst i was eating.. "so hows the weight loss going??" She didnt even want an answer and just looked away! I currently go to fernwood and I told my slim coach that i am considering it, she has been good to with giving me unbias info so that is good. 9 days to I get to go to Dr Andersons office! I cant wait to find out

Hey I was talking to a guy at work and his sister had it done 4 years ago and it still overweight?? how can that be? is that her eating badly? She would still have a bmi of over 40 too!

Yeah good, I got the ok from my GP, now I just have to see if Dr Anderson will do it in a public hospital as I am not covered for private hospital theatre fees, fingers crossed

Hey thanks for that I really wanted to go through Dr Bessell but when I spoke to a lady there she kinda laughed at me when I asked if he will do it in a public hospital, I reckon I will call tomorrow and ask to speak to the nurse there again. she was really helpful to begin with, However I do now have an appointment with Dr Anderson, but he will asses whether he will do it or not,

I wanna be banded by Justin! but my medibank screwed me as I am covered for the op but not the hospital stay, so unless I can find a private doctor that will do it in a public hospital I have to wait 12 months again for hospital cover :mad2: I am seeing Dr Anderson on the 1st of june, he will asses to see if he will do it in a public hospital but he hardly does the reception told me

Hey everyone, My health care screwed me as I am covered for the op however not for private hosptial or theatre fee! so I need to find a Private surgeon that will perform in a public hospital, does anyone know of anyone??? I dont want to wait another 12 months :thumbup: I am in South Australia
