    You are not alone. I have been researching lap band for a long time and have made my mind up in getting one. I start my medical exams in a week and half and hope to have my surgery by end of July. I have only told a few people at work because I do not want to hear how I could have just done it on my own. :rolleyes2:

    I am in the same boat as you with the lack of insurance. I went to my first seminar on Wednesday and all of my fears of the surgery are gone. When I looked at my insurance coverage, they exclude the surgery. Any ideas anyone has would be appreciated :glare:
