3/22 lost 20 pounds.. i have had reflux and heart burn today aug 1st i went to the doctor he totally unfilled me.. said he thinks that the doctor who did the segery put a band that was to small on me.. but i feel alot better since the unfill. going back home to longisland NY to see my orginal doctor because he has th the x ray machines in his office. Alittle scard to find out what she thinks.. a little scard because i can eat w/e i want to eat right now... but i had had a small dinner.( three fish sticks cucumber slices with tamato and four tatar tots. with a glass crystal light. have a question....... did any of your doctors say anything about scaring around your band?

i went to the doctor today he said that the doctor in ongisland filled the band up to much so he unfilled it totally. the doctor said he thinks there is scaring around my band and he doesn't know if the heartburns going to go away any one eles have a doctor tell you that you have scaring around the band.. should i be consurned.. a bit upset here ..

yah i agree .. i told my cuz that i had lost 10 pounds and she was like "yah i lost 10 pounds and i don't have the band thingy " i wanted to cry..

yah i am 18 and last year when i was 17 i got lazer on my upper lip chin neck sideburns and my checks .. i only did 2 treatments and omg did they hurt .. i think i am going to go back and get the treatments agien but i am afraid because i am in school i i dont think i want to go to school looking like a burnt red tomoto... but i am so so so tired of having to nair and wax my face. i do think that body hair has something to do with being over wieght.. .. you know i get so depressed sometime because of the facal hair..... for me to go get treatments i think 8 cost 4000 dollars.. how much are you guys paying?

yah i am doing that right now woke up last night like 4 imes i got the pictures of my upper gI today and i go tommorow to the doctor. hopefuly he will do the unfill tommorow.

ever since he 11th i hav ben having problms. i have great resticion. but i keep on getting horrible heart burn , (never had heartburn befor) i ge like a reflux right after meals, alos now for like a week i have had this horrible cough and i haven't been sick, any one having the same problems?

u think ithas to do with the diffent altitudes... because i am on vacation.. i come from longisland Ny which is close to the sea level and i am in Albany Ny which is high in the mountains. now befor i left i had got a fill nd i was home for 4 days with no problems.. when i got to Albany my band was feeling to tight .. so tight i went to the hospital because i was in pain.. i go for a upper Gi tommorow to see how resticted i am.

i need t loss 18 pounds by sep.. i have school so i wont be able to go... but thts ok i am going to hershy this sunday for 5 DAYS... I WANT TO GET TO 200 SO BAD.

you know the same thing happen to me the 1st time i ad mine filled.... I don't knowwhy that happened either.. sorry i couldn't help you. but i am intersted in finding out why tht happened.:eek:

did any 1 get acid reflux from the band.. if so what did you do about it?

in a lot of discomfort. the 11th i was tighten for the 2nd time. i dont know if tht is y i am in pain. but it feels like a bad burning in my chest and stomach.. this pain started 2 days ago and is just getting worse.. i would go to my doctor but i am upstate 5hr away frrom my home. what do u think this pain is.

i usaully stop eating 2 hours befor i go to bed. but i think i am going to try to stop eating after dinner. i got daibetes so i might have to eat something b4 i go to bed

:guess i was banded march 22 and didn't get filled until 3 weeks ago. that was my first fill. for maybe the 1st day i was full. then after that 1st day i could eat wutever. i gained a half a pound. but the 11th of july i had gotten filled agien. the band was pretty tight. i could only eat about 3 baby spoons of pudding. but now the 13th i can eat like 15 spoons of pudding. why does tht happen?:faint:
