    Hi everyone! I am new to this site and have just started my venture to lap band. I have been researching this for quite some time and I am going for my consultation this week. I am so excited. Just would like you to email me and let me know how it went for you. I live in Ohio and I will be going to Mt Carmel in Columbus so if anyone has had their surgery here let me know your experiences plz. Anyone have Anthem PPO insurance? Did you have problems getting approved? Would love to hear from everyone regarding this. I only know of 1 other person that has had lapband and he has had great success. Everyone else I know that has had weight loss surgery has had gastric bypass, but that surgery really scares me and the recovery is usually not good for them. Also wondering about the psych consult? What happens with that. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. :wink:
