  1. My band was actually filled to 2.5ccs during the flushing of the band from the surgery. I went for my first fill the other day and the Dr. added another 3 ccs (for a total of 5.5) I am stuffed and can't eat more than a couple of bits of food wihtout gettina sharp pain in my shoulder. (weird referring pain.) My sis and mom were also banded and they are not even at 4 cc's (they've been banded much longer.) All I can say is that my doctor is being aggressive as I'm getting married next year and he knows how much I want to loose the weight. When I had 2.5 cc's I could eat a horse. With the additional 3, I can't eat as much and have lost 5lbs. in 4 days. My doctor told me to let him know how I was doing in 2 wks, (to indicate more or less.) Talk to your Dr. about it. Maybe they can do more for you on your next fill. (I wouldn't recommend 3, since I feel it's too much. I may go for a deflating.) Good luck!

Good luck! I recently shared in your excitement and now, almost 7 weeks later, 18 lbs thinner, I am not regretting a single moment of it. It was a very very easy recovery! I could have gone back to work in 3-4 days. The first day was awesome- still drugged up. Released 5 hours after surgery. Looking at wedding halls 3 days after the surgery! Best of luck!!!!
