I understand that different bands hold different amounts of total cc's. My band holds a total of 4cc. 1st fil 1.5cc,2nd fil 1.5cc. I was also told that small amounts have to be added due to erosion with too rapid of a fil. Another reason is over fils cause problems, discomfort, pain when swallowing, nausea & vomiting. So doc usually want to increase slowly, then unfil slightly if nessasary

I swallow a large Allegra pill every morning ever since two weeks after my lap band. I have had it stick for a few seconds at times,but another sip of water and down it goes. Remember though, that was me unfilled and then at 1cc,now I am at 2cc & don't know what to expect.
