  1. Congratulations! I was banded 11 days ago, and my gas pains went away about 4 days in! Guess everyone is different! Good luck with everything!
  2. Hi all! I'm so glad to have found this place! It was a great source of information before I had my surgery. I'm a 26yr old female from the Cincinnati area, and I was recently banded, on 4/21. So far, so good. It's still a little weird to feel the port and band underneath my skin, and it's taking a little bit to get used to it. Still a little sore, but mostly just when I'm getting up, or sitting down, or rolling over in bed. I'm feeling good! I've down 20+ pounds, but that includes the weight loss from the pre-surgery diet. Anyway, I'm excited to have found a group of people who have been through this before, I know a couple people in my area, but no one close to me has ever had this done, and the people in my intermediate family are all skinny so they don't really understand, though they are being very supportive!
