Hello! I haven't has my surgery yet! I went to my dietitian meeting the 6th month last night ..now I have to wait to see if my insurance approved. Then it will be in about 3 weeks after that. so how have you been since you got your band?.. I hope you are doing great ttysoon:)

Ok so my last dietitian meeting was last night 11-17-09 now I have to wait on my insurance approval. Won't be to much longer.

Well alot has been going on. I passed all the evaluations, had my upper endoscopy, had my gall bladder ultra sound(I do have gall stones), did my exercise eval, and went to my second dietitian meeting. Everything is going smoothly for now. I am guessing I will have my gall bladder removed in the month of july since they don't wanna do both at the same time like I was hoping for. So I am guessing and hoping that I will be banded in the month of Nov or even better yet late Oct. not sure yet. But still alot more test to be done so I will update asap..Hope everyone is doing good and if you got any good tips for me to be doing NOW just please let me know.

Well alot has been going on. Hello there..everything is still going. I will probably be getting my gall bladder removed in the next month waiting on my next months appointments. Right now I am trying to find the right vitamins that I will be taking before and after..(what are you taking)? I am trying to walk more and lose some weight before my next dietitian appointment. Soo how are you what all have you been able to eat ? Are you feeling good any problems! Thanks for keeping in touch your such a nice person!

I hope everything is still going GREAT for you I am soo sorry that you had to go through all your drama but now your on your way..I can't wait to hear how everything is going now for you I had my upper endoscopy last week and I am in the 2nd month long ways to go but I am right behind you!!

k i'm doing it..I want me a band!! I have started my testing blood work breathing test and next is scope next week! So the liquid diet ain't that bad?? Your day is almost here I bet you are very anxious!

Hey girlie well I have started my process have to wait the 6 months I have been going to the hospital to have test ran and see a dietitian once a month and the 11th I have to do the scope and have my gallbladder removed and all that nice stuff..so have you heard anything else yet? I am expecting to get my band possible in Oct

Hey gurl..glad to see your almost ready to get your band! I have 6months to wait so I am looking to be banded in Oct maybe Nov but it will fly by and I am ready...I see you are getting you some heels ready well you can wear them first and then mail them this way..lol

My first blog soo here it goes! I went to my first seminar last week and they called me the next day for my first appointment into there office @ Kings Daughter Medical Center. So yesterday was that appointment and I was there for around 3 hours I seen the Dietitian had my Psych Evaluation meet w/ the Nurse, an two other people one was the Insurance Lady that gave me the new that I have to wait 6 months! So I am looking to be banded on late Oct. or Nov. I have a form to get my blood work done and I start my support group next month and see the Dietitian! In the 6 month process I will be getting my gallbladder removed, pap smear, scope down my throat to see if I have ulcers or anything else going on internally(EGD)...so lets get it started!!

Yea I know I ask at the seminar in front of all 3 doctors if I could have the gallbladder removed at the same time..they all said no I thought it would be the best so I don't have to be put under twice..ughh but I hope that it will be ok I will have time to heal between each surgery I guess...just pray that its the right thing is all I know..lol

no I have only had my wisdom teeth cut out..thats it no broke bones no nothing ..I am 31 and only had blood took once maybe twice! I am just scared of not knowing if this is what I need or I need to just eat right and try a really strict diet..I go wed to talk to the nurses and I dont know what else they will be doing but hopefully they can help me figure things out!
