  1. Why is smoking prohibited with LAP BAND?

    Im very very new to the whole idea of the lap band and have been doing some reading here and noticed that lots of people are quitting before they have the surgery, can someone please tell me why? Is it a requirement? or just something that helps out in different ways. Thanks Tina
