  4. Hi there. Just curious, when you are using the isopure are you using the scoop provided? I have the same and I have not been able to stomach it, but I just can't throw the $55 I paid for it down the drain. What are you mixing it in to get your Protein, and, how many grams of protein are you getting? Thanks in advance. Emily Banded 2/22/10 Houston, Tx
  5. Hi there, I was banded on 2/22/10 and for the first 4 days i lived with a heating pad on my belly. It really helped with the soreness and the gas. It really sounds like you are having gas pains. I had alot of discomfort the first few days when I drank something so my hubby called the dr, they suggested to take the extra strength gas-x, it worked like a charm. OH, and walk every hour atleast a lap around the house. Walking works the gas out. Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone and this will pass. Monday I will be 3 weeks post op, I feel fantastic and have lost almost 25lbs since surgery. I wouldn't give up my band for anything. Good Luck and God Bless! :wink2: Emily Banded 2/22/10 Houston, Tx
  6. I had my surgery last monday on 2/22 and it took me a full week to feel like myself again. I was so sore I could barely walk, when I would stand up from sitting down it would take me a good 30 seconds to start moving. Hang in there, by 1 week post op you will feel fantastic. Emily Banded on 2/22/10
  7. According to my Dr. smoking can cause ulcers, I mean, well among the other reasons you shouldn't smoke. You are taking this journey to prolong your life and smoking is just cutting it back for you. I quit smoking a year ago, and it took 6 months to realize how different things taste and smell. You can do it, you just have to set your mind to it :scared2: Good Luck Emily Banded 2-22-10 and feeling fantastic
