  1. Hello, I had not had surgery since I was a child and had my tonsils out. I was scared to death to go in for this surgery. I tried to find things to take my mind off it. The night before, I stayed up late playing a video game. When they came to my hospital room to get me, I was so nervous they had to give me something for my nerves. I think some of that is normal. Hang in there, bro. Lobo
  2. Greetings to all, I have finally had my lap band and so far, it had been a bittersweet experience. I am still on the liquid diet phase and feel as tho i am starving to death!! I want a pizza! and chicken wings! and all that stuff. I feel as tho I am going thru food withdrawal. It's horrible!! I have lost about 20 pounds or so since the week before the surgery. That's the sweet part. I am down to 276 from 296 or 298 I cannot recall. Any suggestions for getting thru the first two weeks? Thanks Lobo
