Hello everyone. My name is Eric. I live in NW Ohio. I'm in the early stages of my banding journey. My story is like so many others that I have read on this site. This forum is such a great way to learn about what to expect (or not to expect) about living with the band. I'm so ready to do this! My biggest fear is living with this band inside of me for the rest of my life. I'm only 33 years old and wonder what it will be like when I'm 60? Do you know what I mean? My insurance does not cover the procedure either so I will have to pay for it myself which sucks but I look at it as an investment in myself for the next 7 years or so. :laugh: That's really the least of my anxieties though. I really just want to be healthy again and live a long life. I guess the upside is that I don't have to jump through all the insurance hoops, right!? Well here I go I guess. I want to schedule my seminar with Dr. Curry (Cincinnati) sometime in May and hopefully by this time next year I will be a lean mean love machine! Thanks again for allowing me to introduce myself. Oh and if anybody has some nice (reassuring) things to say about Dr. Curry I would love to hear about them. It might put me at ease a little bit more. :thumbup: Eric
