    I am scheduled for surgery in 2 days (April 14, 2009) and I am glad I read your post. I too have issues with my blood sugar levels, the doctors consider me pre-diabetic. While on the pre-op diet using Optifast liquid shakes I have lost 20lbs. and my sugar levels are significantly lower. I am hoping this surgery will correct my weight for life as well as my blood sugar level. Thanks 4 sharing.
