  1. Thanks for sharing that info Lingling. What perfect timing. I was banded on April 10th, just moved to pureed foods, and started to notice that I can eat a lot more than I was able to right after the op. I was starting to get a little worried until I came across this thread. I have a two-year-old son and the desire to see him grow up is what motivates me to stick to my diet regardless of the lack of restriction. At least now I know that what I've been feeling is common and that there is a name for it. I have lost 25 pounds so far and don't want to regress so I made the decision to drink as much water as I want to rather than to eat more during this period.
  2. Please add me, I go in tomorrow @ 8:30 the op is scheduled for 11:30
  3. Thanks, I'll check it out now. Yes the 10th is correct, tomorrow btw...
  4. Thanks for all of your encouragement guys. Had a nice meal last night but didn't eat too much and am going to take my "before" pics today. I'm preparing to move the first of May and was about to go through my closets today and throw away all of the clothes that I can't fit anymore when it hit me that those aren't the ones that'll be getting tossed... Sweet!!!
  5. Hi All, I am scheduled to be banded one week from today. My surgeon is Dr. Vivek N. Prachand. I have been hoop-jumping with my insurance company for almost two years now and finally got approved a few days ago. Although I am very excited about the prospect of getting my body back, I am a little nervous about making such a huge lifestyle change. I'm really glad to have found this forum and will not only be seeking advice when needed, but will also be willing to help others where and when I can. Wish me luck! Vince A.
