    Lee, I am also at Kaiser Richmond. I heard at support group that the sleeve was only available to a select few people in special circumstances (ie: malabsorption issues). It was not offered to me at my surgeon's appointment but now seems to be used more often. He did tell me that would approve either Lap-Band or Roux-n-Y but recommended R-n-Y. Has Kaiser ok'd the sleeve for you? Thanks. Tricia
