  1. :smile2::confused: Hello there. I hope that someone can help my situation. I was banded in June 06. I initially lost 80 lbs, was at my sweet spot then started having severe reflux and esophageal spasms. I have mostly gotten over the spasms, but still have pain as often as everyday. I have had a couple swallow studies that do not reveal any problems with the band. Initally (after 8 months at my perfect fill level) the MD determined that my fill was too much. I have been playing with the fill for the last 2 years now. Today, although I sometimes have pain, my big concern is that I have such bad restriction that I am not able to take in anything (including fluids, excluding coffee) until about 1pm. I usually have one coffee just to offset the hunger and to give my body something to live on for those morning hours. After 1pm I am able to eat just about anything (excluding fruit which I have always had a hard time with.) My hunger is never gone and I make bad choices because at this late time in the day I am terribly hungry and then probably over-eat. I am able to eat about 2-3 cups of food at a time. I am at a loss, and my surgeon is unable to assist me. If I try to eat anything in the am (including yogurt) I will vomit. Please help if you have any suggestions! Thanks. Laura
