  1. I had surgery on April 6th and now its saturday I am still a little swollen but its going down more and more... hang in there.....
  2. Had my surgery on Monday April 6th, in Concord Hospital, Concord NH. My Surgeon is Dr Goldenberg, great guy. The surgery took longer than expected because a part of the band fell off inside and my doctor replaced the whole thing. I have a 14cc band. The first day I was a little sore in the hospital but I managed to get up and walk around. I was given liquid Vicodin for pain and it worked well. I came home yesterday and had one bout of nausea, I took compazine for it and it helped. I feel much better today and tomorrow I start on the protein shakes. I was surprised that I gained 15 lbs of fluids in the hospital from all the IV's lol Im looking forward to the future. Right now I weigh 297 and my goal weight is 210. I look forward to meeting and talking to all of you. John
